SILCHAR, Aug 2 - An important meeting between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be held here on Monday.
According to sources in the district BJP, the RSS national organising secretary Ram Madhav, Assam state observer and national secretary of the BJP Mahendra Singh and BJP state president Siddhartha Bhattacharya will attend the meeting along with other leaders.
Sources say the meeting will discuss many important issues including preparation of strategies for the 2016 Assembly elections in the State. However, members of the RSS and the BJP local units are tight-lipped about the possible issues likely to be raised in the meeting.
