GUWAHATI, Oct 22 � The Bakijai officer of the Co-operative Society, Guwahati Division has managed to recover Rs 7 lakh (approx) from a number of defaulters and had also arrested six persons in this connection in the span of last few months.
Bikram Hazarika, the Bakijai officer of the Guwahati division, when contacted, informed that they have intensified their operation against the defaulters, especially those who even dare to overlook the showcause notices served on them as part of the legal proceedings.
�We are working in tandem with the police department and so far as the Guwahati division is concerned, we have successfully recovered a good amount of loan amount from the defaulters,� Hazarika said.
