SHILLONG, April 17 - The Centre has released funds close to Rs 30 crore for the Central Agriculture University (CAU), which is being set up in Meghalaya, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma informed the Assembly today.
The Department of Agricultural Research and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture had in 2010 selected a site at Kyrdemkulai in Ri-Bhoi district for the CAU and 30 per cent of the work has already been completed, he said. � PTI
