GUWAHATI, April 3 - A total of 13 cases of lockdown violation were reported across the State on Friday, including seven non-FIR cases.
In connection with these cases, police made five arrests and seized altogether 26 vehicles, including 23 two-wheelers and three four-wheelers. Police also realised a total of Rs 25,500 today as penalty from the violators.
Till today, altogether 685 cases of lockdown violation have been reported across the State, in which police have arrested 930 persons and seized 3,632 vehicles, including 3,301 two-wheelers, 19 three-wheelers, 307 four-wheelers, four trucks and a trailer. Moreover, during the lockdown hours, police also seized eight country boats.
Till today, altogether Rs 12,66,400 has been realised as penalty from violators across the State since the beginning of the nationwide lockdown.
