GUWAHATI, Nov 1 - The third round of the Raijor Padulit Raijor Sarkar (RPRS) programme in the Kamrup Metro district will start on November 3.
The programme will be held in each of the gaon panchayats of the district. A total of seven teams have been formed to conduct the programme, which will include officials from departments like Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Fishery and Irrigation.
In this regard, a training event will be held at the Deputy Commissioner�s office conference hall here on November 2 for officials associated with the programme. The theme of the RPRS third round in the district will be �Food production�.
As per the schedule, the programme will be organised at Kamarkuchi, Nartap, Hahara, Digaru, Panikhaiti, Dharapur and Kahikuchi gaon panchayats on November 3, at the Barkhat, Sonapur, Topatoli, Tetelia, Chandrapur, Garal and Azara gaon panchayats on November 5, at the Khetri, Maloibari, Dhupguri, Pachim Mayong, Majirgaon and Amching gaon panchayats on November 7 and the Baruabari gaon panchayat on November 9.
