GUWAHATI, Sept 12 - An eight-member archery team of the Royal Global School, comprising Khusboo Firdoushi, Esha Mein, Arnav Choudhary, Kushan Rai Bora, Gaurav Kr Roy, Yash Bhartia, Manish Borah and Akansh Bharti participated in the CBSE Far East Zone Archery Competition held at the LCIT Public School Bodri, Bilaspur, Chattisgarh from September 9 to 11.
Manish Borah of Grade XI secured gold medal in the U-19 boys category while Akansh Bharti of Grade XI secured two silver medals in 50 and 30 metres Indian Rounds U-19 boys category.
Khusboo Firdoushi of Grade VI secured two bronze medals in 20 and 40 metres U-14 girls category while Esha Mein clinched two gold medals in 30 and 40 metres Indian Rounds event in U-17 girls category.
Royal Global School was awarded overall champion in the event.
