GUWAHATI, Dec 15 - In yet another shameful incident, a girl was manhandled by some rowdy youths while coming out of the Crystal Bar at Zoo Road Tiniali.
A group of youths got into a confrontation with the girl late yesterday evening and manhandled her, including touching her inappropriately, pulling her hair and trying to take her photo with mobile camera, police sources said.
A number of locals also gathered at the spot, after which the youths fled from the spot.
The girl, as well as three other female customers who were inside the bar, were escorted out by a team of police personnel who had reached the spot, and taken to the Geetanagar Police Station.
A case has been registered against the youths and the police are investigating the incident.
Police have picked up seven youths so far based on TV footage of the incident.
