UDALGURI, April 17 - The Udalguri district committee of All Bodo Students� Union (ABSU) today celebrated the 6 th edition of Rongjali Bwisagu with a day-long programme here at Udalguri public Durga Puja field. The programme got underway with ABSU and Bwisagu flags hoisting by Gajen Hazowary, senior teacher and Ratendra Daimary, president of the students� organization respectively. Prodeep Kumar Daimary, former vice president of ABSU and ex- deputy chief of erstwhile BAC initiated the homage paid to the martyrs of the Bodoland movement at the ABSU martyrs� tomb at the heart of Udalguri town.
The ABSU members also felicitated the senior citizens� of the areas. Over 10 Bwisagu groups from various parts of Udalguri areas participated in a traditional Bihu dance programme.
