GUWAHATI, June 24 � Jyotirupa, a sociocultural organization of the city, has mourned the death of actor-director-producer Robin Neog who passed away yesterday.
In a condolence message, Jyotirupa recalled the contributions of Robin Neog, especially in the sphere of stage acting, and conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
It also took note of the fact that the State had lost a host of luminaries of the cultural arena in the current year.
The Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) also condoled Robin Neog�s death, saying that the State had lost a great actor and cultural activist. It also said that the State lost as many as four great personalities from the cultural and literary spheres within a week.
�Assam is bound to witness a void in the cultural and literary arena following the death of so many eminent personalities,� the SAKP added.
It also conveyed its sympathy to the bereaved family members.
