GUWAHATI, Jan 11: A meeting of the District Road Safety Committee, Kamrup (M) was held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office today.
Chaired by Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu, the meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner Atul Kumar Sarma, Joint Commissioner of Guwahati Police Partha Sarathi Mahanta, DCP (Traffic) Pranjit Bora, DTO Kamrup (M) Gautam Das and officials from the Guwahati Municipal Corporation and PWD (Roads) among others.
Several important issues relating to road safety including road accidents and their prevention, were discussed at the meeting.
