GORESWAR, Dec 10 - Several social organisations joined hands with the local people here and staged a road blockade at Gashbari Chowk under Number-56 Kamalpur LAC recently protesting against the dilapidated condition of the main Baihata Chariali-Ramgoan Nagrijuli PWD road in the area.
The protesters said that there are potholes on the road at Gashbari Chowk. Besides, the portion of the PWD road from Muktapur Chowk to Gashbari Chowk near the Baksa district border is in a dilapidated condition and has become a major concern for the commuters.
The protesters led by activists of �Chatra Sakti�, a social organisation, also alleged the apathetic attitude of the concerned departments towards the area.
