SHILLONG, Jan 10 - In protest against the Citizen�s Amendment Bill, a group of NGOs in Meghalaya have called a road blockade from 7 pm this evening till 5 am tomorrow.
The �stay off the road� protest has been called by the Confederation of Hynniewtrep Social Organisation and has warned that it would intensify the protest if the Rajya Sabha passes the Bill.
Meanwhile, the North East Indigenous People�s Forum has decided to observe a �black flag day� in the State on January 11 from 9 am to 3 pm to protest against the Bill.
