GUWAHATI, Jan 2 � In today�s match of the Guwahati Cricket Association�s A division cricket championship for the Madhab Ram Bora Trophy at the Nehru Stadium here, River Rine Club trounced Titan Club by 57 runs.
Put into bat, River Rine gathered 154 losing eight wickets in the stipulated 35 overs. Biplab Saikia was their top scorer with 45 while Nausad Ali contributed 41.
In reply, Titan were all out for 97 in 29.3 overs. Amar Das and Taijul Islam were their only notable contributors with 24 and 20 respectively as other batsmen miserably failed to handle the hot stuff of River Rine bowlers. Jintu Das and Manas Das wrecked the Titan innings with three and two wickets respectively.
