GUWAHATI, April 9 � River Rine Cricket Coaching Centre won the title in the Gauhati Town Club organised Maharishi Bora Trophy Invitational Cricket Tournament.
In the final played at the Judges� Field here today, the River Rine boys outwitted Bud Cricket Club by eight wickets.
Electing to bat first, Bud CC scored 139 for nine in the stipulated 30 overs. But the target was not enough as the River Rine batsmen smacked 142 in 22 overs losing two wickets.
Abdul Aziz of the winning team and Sahil Jain of Bud were adjudged man-of-the-final and man-of-the-tournament respectively. Bishal Roy and Samir Sarma, both of River Rine walked away with best batsman and best bowler awards respectively.
