GUWAHATI, April 7 - Esplendidez 18, the annual techno fest of Regional Institute of Science & Technology (RIST) was formally inaugurated by Meghalaya Minister of Education, Forest and Environment Lahkmen Rymbui today.
He also laid the foundation of Dr Donkupar Roy Block at the University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya.
Addressing the function on the occasion, Rymbui said that the education scenario today is very dynamic in nature and the essence of educational institutions in the region lies in imparting quality education. Rymbui said that along with RIST, the USTM do not merely belong to Meghalaya, but for the whole of North East.
