IMPHAL, July 10 - Rishav Brahma and Kristi Boro of Assam clinched the boys and girls� title respectively of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) U-16 Tennis Championship, organised by the Manipur Tennis Association under the aegis of AITA at Officers� Club Tennis Court in Imphal recently.

In the boys� singles final match, Rishav Brahma of Assam clinched an easy 6-1, 7-5 victory against Harshit Srujan of Andhra Pradesh. In the girls� singles final, Kristi Boro got the better of Shatavisa Ghosh of West Bengal 6-1, 7-5 .

The boys� doubles title went to Kritanta Sharma and Karan Baruah Das of Assam after they defeated Nohal Kothari of Maharashtra and Luching Lukram of Manipur 2-1, 0-6, 6-4, 6-4.

In the girls� doubles final match, Harshita Boro and Kristi Boro of Assam clinched a thrilling 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (6-1) win against Gangamma MK Vibhooti and Eva Raj Sah of Assam. Earlier in the semifinals, Harshita Boro and Kristi Boro edged past Yumnam Agu and N Charmi of Manipur 8-6.
