Rio asks employees to accept what is available

By A Correspondent

KOHIMA, June 24 Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has appealed to the government employees to accept what is possible and not ask for what is not available.

Touching on the issue during the inauguration of the new building of Chief Engineers Office, Irrigation and Flood Control, in the New Capital Complex yesterday, the CM again pointed out that the States Annual Plan outlay had been accepted at the same level as last years since the Planning Commission had generously sanctioned Rs 712 crore for the purpose of implementation of the 6th Revision of Pay. He reiterated that the Plan size for 2010-11 would have been Rs 2212 crore but explained that it had been sacrificed to meet the implementation of 6th Revision of Pay.

Informing that a meeting with the employees association would be held shortly, Rio called for coordination while impressing that we have to work together for the people we represent.
