KAZIRANGA, Sept 21 - An adult male rhino, which sustained bullet injuries last evening at the Agaratoli range of the Kaziranga National Park (KNP), succumbed to its injuries later, a Park official informed today. The rhino was fired upon by forest guards on duty when the pachyderm suddenly started chasing them. The guards had to fire at the rampaging animal in self-defence, said the official.
