MANGALDAI, Sept 13 � Rhino Football Club of Golaghat registered a 1-0 win over Royal Football Club of Orissa to ensure a semi-final berth in the 35th Amba Medhi Football Tournament here today.
In the third quarter-final match played at the Mangaldai stadium, Bishal Hojai of Rhino FC scored the solitary goal in the 37th minute. After conceding the goal, the visiting Orissa boys searched desperately for the equaliser but failed to penetrate the rock solid defence of Rhino FC led by their full back Nigerian Jerryk Suoday.
