RGS Inter School Team Chess concludes

GUWAHATI, May 29 - The RGS Inter School Team Chess Championship concluded at the Royal Global School on Saturday.

Altogether nine teams from five schools including Don Bosco Panbazar, Delhi Public School Guwahati, Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School, South Point School and host Royal Global School participated in the tournament which was played according to the international rules of chess under rapid time control of 15 minutes and 2 seconds increment.

After the completion of the sixth and final round, Delhi Public School A team clinched the champions trophy while Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School B team secured the runners up title.

Manthan Kashyap Datta of Delhi Public School was adjudged the best individual player of the tournament.
