JORHAT, Nov 14 - Gohi Tabla Football Club clinched the title in the Singh Purush Radha Govinda Baruh Prize-money Football Tournament defeating Satai FC by 4-1 goals in the final played at the Jorhat Stadium today.
The championship was organised by the Jorhat District Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party with the assistance of the Jorhat District Sports Association.
The champion and the runners up teams were awarded cash of Rs 10,000 and 7,000 respectively along with trophies.
Players of both the teams were introduced to the local MLA Hitendra Nath Goswami while Santanu Puzary president Jorhat district BJP committee, Gunin Gogoi, DSO, gave away the prizes.
