GUWAHATI, Aug 12 - The results of North East India regional-level virtual poetry reading and singing competition were declared recently. The competition was organised by the Guwahati Grand Poetry Festival in association with Kamata Foundation, a charity organisation, stated a press release.
Aseto Zao of Nagaland and Meghdeep Deuri of Assam jointly bagged the Tunesmith of North East India singing competition title. Anamitra Khargharia and Debanjana Pujari, both from Assam, were chosen for the jury�s special mention award in the singing category.
Rajkumari Ichanthoibi Devi of Manipur and Aditee Kashyap of Meghalaya jointly bagged the Wordsmith of North East India poetry reading title. Freedy Boy Majaw of Meghalaya and Dziivinguno Dorothy Chasie of Nagaland got the jury�s special mention award in the poetry reading category.
