DIPHU, Sept 14 - The results of the district-level educational competitions conducted by the Karbi Anglong district administration were declared here recently. The competition was organised by the Karbi Anglong district administration in connection with the 73rd Independence Day celebration, 2019.
Speech, Essay and Painting competitions were organised during the recent Independence Day celebration among the students in the district. Every successful competitor was given �Prize Money�. Altogether 15 students from different educational institutions in the district performed well in the three different competitive categories.
Krishna Lina Kalita and Alindita Kalita students from the Howraghat Sankardev Vidya Niketan and Diphu Sankardev Vidya Niketan secured first position in essay writing competition. Both the successful competitors were given prize money each of Rs 5000.
In the speech competition at the college and university level Runa Nunisa, Diphu Government College secured the first position. Cheque of Rs 10,000 was given to Runa Nunisa. Monika Beypi No. 1 Taralangso Lower Primary School, Diphu and Lariyn Rongpipi, Longri Primary School, Diphu secured the first position in painting competition in group-1 and group-II. Both the successful competitors were provided prize money cheques of Rs 6000 and Rs 4000 respectively.
The other successful competitors who participated in the competition managed to get second and third positions as well in the different three competitive categories. They were also given prize money.
During the ceremonial cheque (prize money) distribution programme held at conference hall of Deputy Commissioner office, Diphu Mukul Kr Saikia, DC including all the senior officials of DC office were present.
Krishna Lina Kalita, a student of Sankardev Vidya Niketan, Howraghat received a prize money of Rs 5000 from Mukul Kr Saikia, DC Karbi Anglong recently.
