GUWAHATI, June 2 � To ensure safety of the general public, vulnerable road users and free flow of life saving and emergency vehicles like ambulance, fire-tenders, etc., and to reduce congestion on BC Road, City Traffic Police has, in consultation with the local authorities, and under Section 115 of the MV Act, 1988 and Section 93 of the Assam Police Act, 2007, have temporarily restricted parking of vehicles on the right side stretch of the BC Road from Planetarium point side towards Uzanbazar Chariali, besides entry of vehicles on BC Road from Uzanbazar Chariali towards the Planetarium point side.
Angular parking of vehicles on the right side stretch of the BC Road from Uzanbazar Chariali towards Planetarium point has also been restricted.
