GUWAHATI, Oct 10 - The city police has imposed restrictions on the movement of vehicles following the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Maligaon-Pandu flyover here from 8 am till the end of the programme on Sunday.
The vehicles coming from the Jalukbari side must divert at Adabari Tinali via Pandu road and rejoin the main (DG) road at Maligaon Charali, and vehicles coming from the Bharalu side going towards Pandu are allowed taking the right turn at Maligaon Charali.
The flyover will be built at a cost of Rs 420 crore. The four-lane flyover will connect Maligaon to the Kamakhya Gate. It will have a half-kilometre extended arm on Pandu road.
