GUWAHATI, Aug 9 - The Assam Public Works Department Engineers� Service Association has expressed concern over the alleged favouritism shown to some undeserving engineers in giving promotions with the help of illegal dubbing of year-wise vacancies and controversial grading system in the annual confidential report, stated a press release.
The association has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, indicating the grievances of the engineers in APWD because of the undue repeated promotions given to a select person, the release added.
