KOHIMA, Feb 25 � Re-poll will be held at nine polling stations in nine Assembly constituencies in Nagaland tomorrow, Election Department said.
Re-election in the nine booths were ordered as the voting was adjourned because of disturbance by miscreants, clashes between supporters of political parties and candidates and damage of EVMs on February 23, a notification of the Election department said. Counting will be held on February 28. � PTI
AK-56 rifle, carbine seized in Mizoram
Aizawl, Feb 25 � An AK-56 assault rifle and a carbine were seized by security personnel from the jungles near Hrangchalkawn village in south Mizoram�s Lunglei district, police said today.
The weapons were seized by the State police and Assam Rifles during a combing operation yesterday, they said.
A search operation has been launched to nab arms traffickers who had hidden the weapons in the dense wooded area. � PTI
