BONGAIGAON, May 6 - Repoll was conducted today in two polling stations at Borpathar village under Bijni LAC in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat.
Presiding officers of the Polling station no. 33 and 34 at Borpathar MV School had allegedly deleted the polling records from the EVMs by mistake on April 23 in the third phase of Lok Sabha polls. This necessitated the repoll which was held today in these two booths, Zonal Officer Nishinath Sarma said.
The Polling Station No. 33 comprising total 580 voters recorded 87 per cent polling while Polling Station no. 34 recorded 83 per cent polling against a total of 606 voters.
