GUWAHATI. Nov 11 - The Regional Science Centre, Guwahati reopened for visitors from yesterday (November 10) as advised by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India after being shut down for over seven months, according to a press release issued here today.
The Science Centre was shut down since a nationwide lockdown was announced in March, 2020 to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, the release issued by Basudev Mandal, project coordinator stated, adding that the opening time of the Science Centre is from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on all days including Sunday.
All the galleries, scheduled shows like �Science on a Sphere� and �3D film� and other facilities have also been opened to visitors. The Fish Aquarium, Science Park, Dinosaurs Park, Echo Park, Medicinal Plant garden, Butterfly Corner and all other outdoor facilities of the Science Centre have also been made accessible to the visitors.
The release added that all protocol mandated by the Government of India for the COVID-19 pandemic will be strictly followed.
