GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - The birth anniversary of Mohammed Rafi, doyen of Hindi playback singing, will be observed with a daylong programme in the Shilpgram auditorium adjacent to the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra on December 24.
Md Rafi Smriti Sangha, a socio-cultural organisation, is organising the event.
The day�s programme will feature an all-Northeast prize money competition on Rafi�s selected songs in senior and junior categories from 9 am onwards.
It will be followed by a cultural evening.
