JALUKBARI, Aug 28 - The Human Resource Development Centre (formerly Academic Staff College) of the Gauhati University is organising an inter-disciplinary refresher course in emerging trends in science and technology from October 25 to November 14. The proposed course is being sponsored by the University Grants Commission.
The main objective of the course is to update faculty members working in colleges, universities and higher education institutions in the frontier areas of science and technology.
Eminent scientists, technocrats and educationists from different parts of India are expected to act as resource persons.
Prof Jogen Chandra Kalita, Director, UGC-HRDC, Gauhati University has requested interested faculty members from the field of science and technology of universities, institutions and colleges to apply through proper channel.
