UDALGURI, July 20 - Udalguri district today broke the all time record of hot weather by scaling up to 41 degree Celsius forcing the people even in the villages to remain indoors or under the trees to get rid of the scorching heat.
Today being a 24-hours Kamatapur bandh given by the AKRSU, most of the business enterprises and banks were seen closed while the government offices too witnessed less attendance. The farmers too expressed their reluctance to go their farmlands due to the unusual hot weather.
