IMPHAL, April 18 � All Manipur Students� Union (AMSU) observed the 35th �Meekap Thokpa Numit� (Realisation Day) in the State on Friday to commemorate the Anti-Foreigner movement of 1980. AMSU leaders paid homage at the portraits of the two student leaders � Loken and Premananda � who lost their lives during the movement, at a memorial at Pishum Ching at Singjamei here. Later, the students took out a public rally from Pishum and passed through the streets of Imphal before converging at DM College campus for a public meeting.
