JORABAT, Sept 14 - One person, identified as Rakesh Rajwanshi, was today arrested by the police while attempting to rape a woman in her house at the Hograpara village under the Sonapur Police Station.
Another accomplice, Vicky Rongpi, in the rape attempt, managed to flee the spot. Both Rajwanshi and Rongpi entered the house of the woman when she was alone and locked the door from inside. But the woman somehow managed to come out and cried for help. The local people there caught Rajwanshi and later handed him over to police. Meanwhile, search is on to nab Rongpi.
