GUWAHATI, July 16 - Under the auspices of the Assam Table Tennis Association and Nagaon District Sports Association the Troilukya Nath Memorial All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Championships will be held at the Nurul Amin Stadium, Nawgaon from July 18 to 21.
This will be the 4th ranking championship of the State in the current year.
Around 350 paddlers, including national ana international players from all the affiliated districts and some major institutions like NF Raiway will take part in this tournament.
Altogether 12 individual events will be held from cadet to veteran level for both men and women category.
Biman Bhagaboti from Sivasagar and Chandan Goswami of Nawgaon have been appointed as chief referee and assistant referee respectively while Subrajit Singha of Golaghat and Rajdeep Bhuyan of Dibrugarh will be the observers of the championship, stated a ATTA release issued by secretary Tridib Duvarah.
