GUWAHATI, May 14 - The 14th Troilukya Nath Memorial All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Championship will be hosted by the Nagaon Sports Association at the Nurul Amin Stadium, Nagaon from May 17 to 20.
Around 450 players from Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) affiliated units like Guwahati, Nagaon, Tezpur, Golaghat, Jorhat Sivasagar, Nazira, Namrup, Dibrugarh, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Duliajan, Oil India Limited, NF Railway are likely to take part in the meet where altogether 10 individual events, from cadet to senior, both male and female, will be conducted.
Biman Bhagawati of Sivasagar has been appointed as chief referee while he will be assisted by Subhajit Sinha of Golaghat and Chandan Goswami of Nagaon. Nayan Jyoti Sarma, treasurer of ATTA will be the official observer for the championship, stated an ATTA release issued by secretary Tridib Duvarah.
