GUWAHATI, June 30 - The 19th All Assam Ranking Badminton Tournament will be organised by the Guwahati Sports Association, under the aegis of the Assam Badminton Association, at the Kanaklata Indoor Stadium, in the RG Baruah Sports Complex here from July 2 to 5.
The organisers are expecting about 300 shuttlers from all over the State to take part in the meet. Competitions will be conducted in the age groups of U-10, U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 (for both boys and girls), senior (men and women) and mixed doubles.
State Sports Minister Naba Kumar Doley will be present as chief guest in the opening ceremony of the meet at 5 pm. Director of Sports Anjan Sarma will be the guest of honour.
