GUWAHATI, Nov 9 - The maiden edition of the Ranjit Dutta Memorial Open Tennis Championship will kick start at the Nurul Amin Tennis Complex here on November 11.
The three-day tournament will be organised by the Racquets & Balls Tennis Association where competitions will be conducted in the U-10 (boys and girls combined), U-14 (boys and girls), veterans (above 40 years) and mixed doubles.
Around 200 players from different parts of the Northeastern States will vie for titles in different groups.
The championship will carry a cash scholarship of Rs 75,000. The sign in will take place on November 10 from 10 am onwards, informed organising secretary, Alok Kr Tripathi.
