Ranjan Daimary expresses desire for talks

GUWAHATI, Aug 16 � Militant National Demcoratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) chairman Ranjan Daimary today declared his willingness for talks with the Government, reports PTI.

�The ceasefire, which we announced unilaterally, is going in the right direction�, Daimary, believed to be against talks, told reporters after being produced in the court of the chief magistrate here.

Daimary, the prime accused in the October serial blast in 2008, has announced unilateral ceasefire and desire for negotiation after his arrest.

NDFB (pro talk) faction has already surrendered and its members are being kept in designated camps.
