GUWAHATI, July 10 - With a view to promote and propagate Sattriya culture at the national and international level, Rangayan � a premier institute of Sattriya dance and music headed by Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Sharodi Saikia has taken up a number of projects for the current year.

Accordingly, a seven-day workshop from July 14, a seminar in September and a festival Hindustani, Carnatic, Sattriya music and dance, a first of its kind on October 23 and 24, are to be held, to be participated by experts in respective fields. Admission into Rangayan is presently going on at House No. 6, Christianbasti, Guwahati, informs Sharadi Saikia in a press note.
