GUWAHATI, March 15 - The first randomisation of the electronic voting machines (EVMs) for the three LACs of the district, namely, 79-Jagiroad, 80-Morigaon and 81-Laharighat was done on Monday at the Morigaon DC�s conference hall, an official press release stated.
It may be noted that out of the total 823 EVMs, 32 EVMs were reserved for training process. The second randomisation of EVMs will be done shortly. Besides senior officials of the district administration and DIO, NIC Manika Pathak, representatives of various political parties were present during the process.
