GUWAHATI, March 30 - Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Guwahati, a branch centre of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, Howrah, has come out to help the poor who have been hit by the lockdown in force to fight the coronavirus pandemic, said a press release today.
Accordingly, during the last two days the Ashrama distributed rice, dal, potato, salt, face masks, hand sanitisers, etc., among more than 100 families at Birubari and Lalganesh.
The Ashrama said its philanthropic activity would continue in the days to come and appealed to its devotees, well-wishers and members of the general public to make financial donations for the purpose.
