AGARTALA, July 12 - BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav is arriving here tomorrow, accompanied by IT expert Rajat Sethi. Party sources here said that Ram Madhavs visit is aimed at toning up the party organisation in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls next year.
The party hopes to win both the Lok Sabha seats in the State, said a senior BJP leader here on Thursday. Apart from meeting with party leaders on the poll-strategy, Ram Madhav is expected to hold a meeting with leaders of Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) for drawing up a plan for the Lok Sabha elections.
IPFT is keen to contest East Tripura Lok Sabha (ST) constituency leaving West Tripura Lok Sabha seat to BJP. With a view to settle misunderstandings between the two ruling parties, a coordination committee headed by State BJP general secretary Pratima Bhowmik was constituted.
