AGARTALA, March 9 - BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav will arrive here on March 13 to take stock of the party�s preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, sources said.
Madhav will meet the State BJP core committee to check the party�s preparedness for the elections. An elaborate discussion on the party nominees is also likely to take place.
The party has already geared up to contest both the Lok Sabha seats, but a road map for the electoral battle is yet to be finalised by the State unit. Madhav�s visit assumes significance in view of the recent developments in the State�s tribal politics.
Besides, he is expected to hold talks with the IPFT leadership on an electoral understanding. A preparatory meeting of both the parties was held at the official residence of Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb recently.
