ITANAGAR, Sept 30 - Arunachal Governor JP Rajkhowa has exhorted the Parshuram Kund-based Parshuram Dham Seva Ashram (PDSA) to be a part of �Team Arunachal� in promoting Arunachal Tourism especially religious tourism when a delegation of PDSA representatives called on him at Raj Bhawan here today.
The shrine, located in the lower reaches of Lohit river, is visited by thousands of pilgrims from across the country and abroad in winter every year, especially on the Makar Sankranti day for a holy dip in the sacred Kund which is believed to wash away one�s sins. The PDSA team led by Kirti Prasad Chaliha and Soto Thali submitted a 10-point memorandum to the Governor seeking his personal intervention to improve the shrine.
