GUWAHATI, Sept 18 � MP from Assam, Rajen Gohain is leading the Indian Parliamentary delegation to the 35th General Assembly of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Inter-parliamentary Assembly, being held at Laos from September 16 to 19, said a BJP press release.
In his address at the first plenary session, Gohain said India has been privileged to attend the meetings as observer since 2010 and these visits have been extremely productive in enhancing awareness about the ASEAN - India partnership and reinforcing mutual respect for common value systems.
