GUWAHATI, April 22 - Light to moderate rains are very likely to occur at a few places over Assam and Meghalaya tomorrow, the date of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
According to the Borjhar-based Regional Meteorology Centre (RMC), light rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura (NMMT) Meteorological Sub-division of the RMC the same day.
Sources in the RMC warned that thunderstorm, accompanied by gusty wind, with a speed of 40 to 50 kmphs and lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over west Assam, Meghalaya and NMMT Meteorological Sub-division between today and 8.30 am tomorrow.
Thunderstorm accompanied by gusty wind, with speed of 30 to 40 kmph, and lightning, is also very likely to occur at isolated places over south Assam during the above period, said the RMC sources.
