DERGAON, May 3 � In a Group A match of the 20th Senior Women�s National Football Championship played at the Bokakhat playground in the morning today, Railways outplayed Maharastra 12-0 in a totally one-sided affair. Sushila opened the sluice gate in the 12th minute and immediately after that Rosana enhanced the margin. Priya Bruluper netted maximum five goals while Y Kamala scored four goals and Monteswari scored one.
In the afternoon, Chattisgarh beat Uttar Pradesh 4-0. Chattisgarh�s Asmihir Mondivi scored the first goal in 4 minutes. Later Dabanit Nisad, Dibya Poyam and Jamuna Poyam netted one goal each. In the third match Manipur defeated Madhya Pradesh by 9-0. NG Baladevi scored four goals while Umapati Devi scored three. Prameswari Devi and J Grace Danbei got one goal each. With today�s victory Manipur and Railways won three matches each in group A so far.
