SHILLONG, March 30 - Congress president Rahul Gandhi would be visiting Shillong on April 3 and 4 and would be motivating party workers here ahead of the scheduled polls on April 11.

MPCC working president, James Lyngdoh said the All India Congress Committee president will arrive in Shillong on April 3 evening and the next day he is scheduled to have a meeting with District Congress Committee (DCC) and party workers at State Convention Centre here.

However, he is unlikely to hold any rally in the State, but leave for Lakhimpur in Assam to attend another meeting. Due to paucity of time he would not address any rally here, Lyngdoh said.
