GUWAHATI, Nov 24 - Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will arrive in the city in a special flight tomorrow to offer tribute to former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi�s mortal remains at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra here.
Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Ripun Bora said Rahul Gandhi will arrive at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at 9:40 am and he will directly go the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra where the body of the Congress veteran has been kept for general public to pay their last respect.
After paying his last respect to Gogoi�s mortal remains, Rahul Gandhi will directly head back to the airport and depart for New Delhi.
Gandhi will be accompanied by All India Congress Committee general secretary KC Venugopal.
In the afternoon, AICC general secretary in-charge for Assam Jitendra Singh will arrive at Guwahati.
